Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a human with extra ordinary abilities and candour and an international leader, transcending all limitations to earn reverence, even from his adversaries. His contribution to nation building is immeasurable. He was a man who could build consensus and command respect with sheer honesty & idiosyncrasy. Thus, it is imperative to discuss and deliberate his thoughts and pay our homage as best as we can in a meaningful mannerism.
The Constitutional Club under Directorate of Students Welfare, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University shall be organizing program titled “Atal Chirantan Smritika” on 30th October, 2018 to 31st October, 2018 in remembrance and honor of our beloved and virtuous former Prime Minister, late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, comprising various events ranging from Panel Discussions to Competitive events to celebrate his legacy and inculcate feeling of patriotism and individual and collective integrity.
The program starts on 30th of November from a prayer ceremony in memory of Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee leading a documentary screening in C-block Auditorium of GGSIPU, Dwarka. From here we started various competition ranging from Debate, declamation, essay writting, painting and Music competition in different auditoriums simultaneously from 3 to 5pm. Well continue the series the next day starting from Quiz and Kavita Pathan from 1:30, in D- block and C- block auditorium respectively followed by Dance competition at 3.
Price distribution and closing ceremony would be held in C- block auditorium at 4:30 on 31st of November.
