Gaurav Tyagi

Gaurav is an avid researcher and Assistant Professor at the Special Centre for National Security Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. He was also a Senior Research Fellow in Department of Medical Microbiology at University of Delhi. He has submitted his thesis recently. He has travelled across the world and keeps a close eye on India’s foreign policy. A patriot, avid reader, social worker, and traveler, Gaurav believes in George Orwell’s famous quote  ” Perhaps a man really dies when his brain stops, when he loses the power to take in a new idea.”

Rajneesh Jindal

Rajneesh is a socio-academic activist vastly experienced in campus politics and activism. He has been a member of Student’s Union for years. He was also elected as Joint Secretary in Delhi University Student’s Union (DUSU) in 1995. Gaining insights from his vast experiences of campus activism, he founded YUVA, an alternative platform to overcome the limitations of campus activism. He also won the First Prize at the Winter School in Wurzburg University, Germany.

Akash Kumar Singh

Hailing from Chapra in Bihar, Akash is a PhD Scholar at the Jawaharlal Nehru University and a young scholar of communication & governance. A graduate in Mass Communication, Akash has been University topper. He holds his Master’s degree from Centre for Culture, Media and Governance, Jamia Millia Islamia. He has authored and co-authored several pieces of research. At a young age of 21, he was conferred with the ‘Emerging Journalist’ award by the Madhya Pradesh Government. He has also been conferred with the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award on Republic Day Parade for being ‘Meritorious Student of India’. Akash served as a LAMP Fellow in the year 2017-18. Previously, he was working in the discipline of internet governance.

Anisha Kaul is a poet and a PhD Research Scholar at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, India. With a B.A. and a M.A. in English Literature, she treasures literary as well as creative writing experiences and most often pens down free verses with abstract themes, alternate realities or longing for home. Anisha’s work has been widely published in magazines and anthologies based in India, USA, Canada and elsewhere. She has also been featured in multiple interviews, open mics and has considerable experience in writing, editorial and publishing fields. She dreams of returning home someday to pen down a few words under the shade, in their ancestral backyard.
