A talk was organized by YUVA JNU in collaboration with Eager to Forge Ahead on 24th May 2022 at Committee Room 131, SLL 2, JNU. The primary purpose of this talk was to elucidate the cultural and spiritual thoughts and ideas of Sri Aurobindo Ghosh. It was a very well-planned talk, and many YUVA JNU volunteers participated in this insightful exchange.
The talk was presided by Prakash Chandra Sahoo, Assistant Professor, CSSS, JNU. He talked about the spiritual books and the journey of divine life. He also quoted how India can lead the world on a spiritual journey. After that, one of the Eager to Forge Ahead members shed light on Sri Aurobindo Ghosh’s three fundamental principles of teaching. She described the journey of Eager To Forge Ahead from Janmobhumi to Tapobhumi Yatra from 15th August 2021 to 15th August 2022. The chief guest, Prof. Maneesh Kumar, SPS, JNU, commenced with a devotional song. The ideas of nationalism and the five dreams of Sri Aurobindo Ghosh were delineated by him. CH Nirankar concluded the interaction session with the students.
As the end of the talk was approaching, there was a sense of satisfaction on the faces of volunteers and students as a clear understanding of Nationalism, Internationalism, and Education in the vision of Sri Aurobindo was achieved. High Tea and Biscuits were arranged for everyone. YUVA JNU and EAGER TO FORGE AHEAD appreciated all those present at the talk and made it a huge success.
