MANTRA-2019 : The Annual Fest of Sanskrit Department, DRC

सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः, सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः।
सर्वे भद्राणि पश्यन्तु, मा कश्चित् दुःख भाग्भवेत्॥

SHREYAS, The Sanskrit Department of Daulat Ram College is going to organise its annual cultural fest MANTRA 2019 for the very first time.

Time- 9:30 A.M.
Date- 5th of March
Venue- SEMINAR HALL

A number of competitions will be held during the fest. Winners will be awarded with exciting cash prizes and certificates. A list of competition is as follow:

  1. Sanskrit Kavyali Competition
    The rules for the competition:
    A group of 6 students from each college can participate. The kavyali performance should not exceed the time limit of 8-10 minutes.Students can perform any sanskrit kavyali of their choice.
  2. Sanskrit Ekal Shlok Sangeet Competition
    Rules for the competition:
    Maximum 2 students from each college can participate. The shlokas should not exceed the time limit of 5 minutes. Students can chant any shlokas of their choice.
  3. Sanskrit Bhashan Competition_Theme: आतंकवाद: – एका भयावहा वैश्विकसमस्या!
    Rules for the competition:
    Maximum 2 students from each college can participate. The speech should not exceed the time limit of 5 minutes.The given theme should be strictly followed.

Special Guests
The Sanskrit Association of Daulat Ram College: Shreyas is proud to announce Shriniwas Ji as the Chief Guest, Prof. Kaushal Sharmaas Guest of Honour,  Prof. Ramesh Bhardwaj as Special Guest and Dr. Savita Roy as Chair for MANTRA 2019, our first annual fest.

We welcome everyone to witness these guests in MANTRA 2019 on 5 MARCH 2019 in Daulat Ram College.

Amullaya Gupta

Amullaya is a 1st year student in Delhi University's Zakir Hussain College. He hails from Jammu and Kashmir. His great grandfather was martyred on 11th November 1947 by the Kabaili Forces and rebels from Maharaja Hari Singh Army. A patriot, Avid reader and a budding writer, he has a firm grip on the issues related to Jammu and Kashmir.
