DUSU Election 2019: Polling for DUSU Elections will be held today

Delhi University’s prestigious DUSU Elections polling will be held today, 12 September 2K19. Over 1.3 lakh students are likely to cast their votes in 52 different polling centres. The results will be declared tomorrow, 13 September.

For Voting Students must have College ID or admission Slip. Driving license, Aadhar Card, Pancard, Voters Card are also valid.
In morning colleges polling started from 8:30 am and continued till 01:00 pm and for evening colleges polling will be from 03:00 pm to 07:30 pm.

Delhi University Chief Election Officer Ashok Prasad said that

“Over 1.3 lakh students are eligible to cast their votes at 52 polling Centres. The Result will be declared tomorrow. EVMs were being delivered to the polling centres on Wednesday and strict security arrangements have been made. The community hall at the police line in Northwest Delhi’s Kingsway Camp will be the counting centres for the polls.”

The ABVP has fielded Akshit Dahiya for President’s post, Pradeep Tanwar for Vice President’s post, Yogi Rathi for Secretary’s post and Shivangi Kherwal for the post of Joint Secretary.

NSUI has fielded Chetna Tyagi for President’s post, Ankit Bharti for Vice President’s post, Ashish Lamba for Secretary’s post and Abhishek Chaprana for the post of Joint Secretary.

AISA has fielded Damini for President’s post, Aftab for Vice President’s post, Vikash for Secretary’s post and Chetna for the post of Joint Secretary.

AIDSO is contesting only for the post of President with Roshni as its candidate.
